A Proud Journey At My School ...✨


Surrounded by beautiful green paddy fields and located in a calm and peaceful environment, Galle Upananda National College is my beloved school 🌸. Established in 1910, it has a proud history of over one hundred years and is one of the leading Buddhist schools in the Southern Province ☸️.


 Students of my school are talented not only in education but also in sports 🏸. The annual cricket match “Battle of the Fraternity,” held with Bonavista College, is a special event in our school history 🏏. Our playground, which has produced famous athletes like Sriyani Dhammika Menike, is the largest school playground in the Galle District ✨️. The time I spent there is the golden period of my life 💖. 


I was not only a student but also served as the Deputy Head Prefect and Environmental Prefect 🥰. I also worked as the captain of the girls’ cricket team 🏆. The victories I achieved remain unforgettable memories 😍.


Today, I am a past pupil, but I feel very lucky to have studied at such a great school ❤️. I wish my school a bright and successful future 📚.

  MY VILLAGE The name of my village is Hiyare,Galle🌳. My village is a very beautiful place filled with simplicity and natural beauty😍. I love my village very much❤️. The environment of my village is fragrant, cool, and full of greenery🌿.   There is a reservoir in my village, which is an important part of preserving the beauty of the village💧. The reservoir is very helpful for farming and daily life of the people🙏. Not only that, there are beautiful scenes around the reservoir🌄.
